Sharing pool for and by participants of the cultural sector and civil society

By becoming a member in the sharing pool you gain access to the resources available at Returkultur. Members partake in Returkultur by themselves caring for the equipment and the bookings, by collecting their objects on site and by testing the equipment upon returning it - in order to ensure it being operational for the next user.

As a member you are also welcome to help out with other duties like staffing during opening hours, fixing broken things and picking up donations. If you like the idea of this you can read more about it here or just swing by and say hello when we are open. If you or your organization want to, you can also contribute by paying a higher membership fee or by donating to us.

As a member you will once a month receive an email were new objects in the sharing pool, new functions in the platform and other good-to-know stuff is presented.

If you want to know more you can check out our FAQ or send us an email at hej@returkultur.se.

Become a member of the sharing pool

If you are an active member of the culture scene or civil society in the Västra Götaland region, then you can become a member in the sharing pool. We’d like you to check that you fulfill the criteria for membership before continuing. You’ll find them here. Do you represent a school, a national organization or another large organization with a lot of members? Contact us before becoming a member!

17/4/2024:
We will soon introduce a new membership model. Hence, we currently only allow for 4 month long memberships under the current model! This membership fee for 4 months is 500 SEK.

The membership fee is from 1500 per year. This means that you are welcome to pay more if your organization can afford it. As a member, you have access to all the resources in Returkultur’s warehouse. There are limitations on how much that may be borrowed at one occasion, due to e.g. momentary resource availability and available time-slots for pick-up. The standard maximum loan-time is set to two weeks. If you ask in advance, a longer duration is often possible.

We also have a thing called “Testlån” which is a try-out loan where you can test and see if the sharing pool is something for you. This costs 500 SEK and allows you to borrow what you need for a small event. The maximum objects for a Testlån is 40. With a Testlån you can reserve at a maximum of three weeks in advance of the event, and borrow for no more than a week. If you decide to join the sharing pool, the 500 SEK you paid for the Testlån is deducted from the membership fee.

To become a member and book things directly you have to pay the membership with a debit or credit card. If you want to pay in another manner, e.g. by invoice, give us a shout after you’ve created an account and we’ll help you out.

Press the button below to become a member (you will be redirected to the service we use for the sharing pool). The first time you arrive for pick up, you will need to sign an agreement and learn a bit about the process. Hence, we recommend having at least 15 minutes of extra time. Remember to bring a valid ID in order to sign the agreement. You can read the agreement here (As of today it’s only in Swedish, meaning you have to get someone to translate if for you. We are working on an English version).

If you represent an organization, e..g a förening, you need to send us some documents to ensure us that you may sign an agreement on behalf of your organization. Read more about this here
